It is a pleasure for me to express my greetings to the Seventh International Conservatoire Week Festival. This year it marks two important events: 145th anniversary of the St. Petersburg Conservatoire and Igor Stravinsky’s 125th anniversary. The project provides a unique opportunity to bring together students from world’s leading musical academies and conservatoires, enabling them to present their schools’ traditions and achievements. This is the seventh time musicians from Russia, the USA, European and Asian countries are coming to the Russia’s oldest conservatoire to take part in the Festival recitals, master-classes and open lectures.

My best wishes to all Festival guests and participants — let the Festival become a fruitful and exiting mutual experience of creative co-operation!
