Julia SEVERUS (piano), Germany

Julia Severus graduated from the piano department, University of Arts, Berlin and did her postgraduate course in the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatoire. She received her Ph.D for her dissertation on “J. S. Bach’s Articulation Practice” in Technical University, Berlin. In 2002, she founded the Aurora piano ensembles (duet and quartet) performing music for four and eight hands.

Since then, the ensembles have been invited to numerous festivals, having performed world premières of works by Rodion Shchedrin, W. Plagge, T. Madsen, B. Kruse, U. Grahn.
