Manfred Croci was born in Rome in family of musicians — former students of Igor Markevich and Nadia Boulanger.

He graduated from the Rome Conservatoire “Santa Cecilia”, and later went on to study at the National Academy “Santa Cecilia” and did his postgraduate studies at Wuerzburg Music School (Germany) with professor Z. Ude. Among his teachers were also S. Girshenko, M. Sirbu, A. Vinnitsky and V. Tretyakov.

Croci worked in Rome’s major orchestras and played the first violin in “Rome quartette”. He takes part in Rome courses “International meetings with Russian violin school” as Sergey Girshenko`s assistant. Croci recorded Giovanni Sgambati`s music (first performance) “Fonoteka” record label. He plays instruments made by Gennaro Galliano (1765) and by modern Italian craftsman Gianni Ottaviani.
