Monika WOLIŃSKA (conductor)

Мonika Wolińska graduated from the violin class of Professor Henryk Bałaban of the Feliks Nowowiejski Music Academy in Bydgoszcz. She performed as a violin player with Lublin Philharmonic Orchestra and with many chamber ensembles, worked with Pomeranian Philharmonic Orchestra in Bydgoszcz and with Orchestra “Capella Bydgostiensis”.

In 2003 Monika Wolińska graduated from the Federic Chopin Music Academy in Warsaw, where she studied Symphony and Opera conducting in the class of Professor Ryszard Dudek. As the most perspective graduate she was invited to conduct her diploma performance at the Warsaw Philharmonic. This concert was her debut. Monika Wolińska participated in numerous master courses and festivals, has performed with many orchestras in Poland and abroad, among others with Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice, Philharmonic Orchestra in Wrocław. In 2004 she received a scholarship of Ministry of Culture. In 2005 her book on great Polish conductor Stanisław Wisłocki was issued by Federic Chopin Music Academy in Warsaw.
