Мichael Pochekhin studied with G. Turchaninova, M. Keselman, V. Varshavski, G. Krasko, since 2006 he is a student with prof. V. Tretiakov in Academy of Music in Cologne. Michael Pochekhin is received a scholarship from the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, Violin fund named after Y. Yankilevich and of E. Bystritskaya Fund.

Michael Pochekhin is a winner of national competition of young violinists in Spain as well as International competition in Fermo (Italy,2007); he also participated in «New Names» program. At present he tours in Russia, Italy, Spain, Germany, Croatia, Ukraine, Turkey, and takes part in international musical festivals.
