Daniel Avstrikh was born in Leningrad but lives in Germany (since 1997). He studied (Aranovskaya’s student ) in a special school in residence at St. Peterburg Conservatoire (since 1993) and in the Oberlin Conservatory in the USA (since 2001), at present he is studying under prof. V. Tretiakov. Avstrikh participated in Shkolnikova and Spivakov’s master classes, won prizes at Beethoven International Competition (Austria), Sarasate International Violin Competition (Spain) and Paganini Competition (Moscow). Daniel Avstrikh performs with recitals in many American and European cities both as soloist and with symphony orchestra and takes part in International Festivals.

He collaborates with David Garingas, Fabris Bollone, Jose Garcia Acencio, Sergey Bezrodnii, Maxim Mogilevski, Jose Carerras.
