Gentaro KAGITOMI (violin)

Вorn in 1986, Gentaro Kagitomi began studying the violin at the age of five. In 2003 he was the youngest first prize-winner, and also the winner of the Leucadia Prize, the Sumi Prize and the Kuroyanagi Prize in the Violin division of the 72nd Japan Music competition. Gentaro Kagitomi performed with orchestras under the baton of Kazuyoshi Akiyama, Seiji Ozawa, Ken Takaseki and others.

He is presently a third year student of the Soloist Diploma course in Toho Gakuen School of Music, and studies under Akiko Tatsumi.
