Вorn in 1986, Dai Miyata began studying the cello at the age of three. He won many prizes; participated in the Saito Kinen Festival, “Summer in Tokyo” Music Festival 2006. Miyata is active in holding recitals, and has performed in chamber music and Jupiter string quartet, he has performed with Japan’s best orchestras He is presently a third year student of the Soloist Diploma course in Toho Gakuen School of Music, studying under Sumiko Kurata, and was selected an honor student of Toho Gakuen School of Music.
