Patricia GREEN (mezzo-soprano)

Рatricia Green is renowned for her remarkable versatility and exceptional musicianship. Her “warm creamy voice” with a three-octave ease is prized by critics.

Her concerts take place in major halls of Europe and North America including Amsterdam’s famous Concertgebouw, Zankel Hall (the recital hall of Carnegie Hall), the Smithsonian Institute and the Kennedy Center in Washington, where she performs regularly. She has appeared with conductors Leonard Slatkin, Zoltan Pesko, Reinbert de Leeuw, Pascal Rophq, Gustav Meier, Leon Fleisher and J. Reilly Lewis. Patricia Green’s performances have been broadcast nationally on television and radio in Holland, France, Israel, Germany, Canada and the United States. Her discography includes recordings on Newport Classics, Albany Records, and Live Unity Productions. Ms. Green was a scholarship student at the Peabody Conservatory (Baltimore, USA). A fervent educator, she has taught at Michigan State University and Columbia Union College. At the present time Patricia Green heads the vocal faculty of the Don Wright Faculty of Music in The University of Western Ontario.
