Violist lgor Fedotov graduated from the Baku Conservatoire (prof. R. Seid-Zade). Professor of Music at Western Michigan University where he teaches viola and coordinates /coaches string chamber music. He has performed solo recitals throughout the United States and abroad.

As a chamber musician, he has performed with such internationally renowned musicians as cellists Anner Bylsma, Sally Chisholm, Charles Pickler, Martin Lovett and others. He has appeared as performer and teacher at festivals throughout the United States and Europe including the Academies Internacionales du Grand Nancy and Bordeaux, France; Musiques en Mer, Italy; Musikdagar, Sweden; Sewanee and Meadowmount Summer Schools in United States.

In addition, Mr. Fedotov serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Stulberg International String Competition.
