Miroslav Kultyshev graduated from the Secondary Specialized Musical School of the St. Petersburg State Conservatoire (under Z. Tsuker).

At present he is a student of St. Petersburg State Conservatoire (under prof. A. M. Sandler). Miroslav is the winner of international competitions, including G. Neuhaus International Festival (Moscow, 1998) and International Music Festival “Virtuosos of 2000” (1999). In 2001, he became a grant-holder of the National Youth Prize “Triumph”. In 2005, he received the First prize and Golden Medal of the International Youth Delphic Games (Ukraine, Kiev). He participated in numerous musical festivals.

In 2006 through 2007 he took an internship at the International Academy “Holland Music Sessions”.

Since 2006 he is a scholar and active participant of the St. Petersburg House of Music. He tours in Austria, Germany, France, Italy, Great Britain, the USA, Holland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania, and Ukraine.

In 2007 he won the 13th International Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow.
