Sergey POLYANICHKO (horn)

Sergey Polyanichko studied in the Specialized Music School of Saint-Petersburg Conservatoire (under prof. Buyanovsky). Afterwards he continued his education in the Conservatoire with prof. A. E. Gluhova. Polyanichko took the extra course of operatic and symphonic conducting department with prof. Musin. He graduated from the St. Petersburg State Academy of Theatre Art and St. Petersburg School of Television and worked as a TV host. He has become a prize winner of the International Contest (2003).

Polyanichko plays horn in many Russian orchestras also performing as a guest accompanist in Symphony Orchestra ‘Heinola Simfonietta’ (Finland), ‘Nordicsymphony’ (Estonia) and Santiago Philharmonic Orchestra (Chili). Sergey Polyanichko tours with ensembles and as a soloist-performer.

In 2006 he has become the founder and the head of the ‘Russia’s Horn Orchesrta’.
