Vladimir STACHINSKY (conductor)

In 1989 Vladimir Stachinsky graduated with honours from the Moscow Conservatory, completed a postgraduate course of professor J. Simonov(people’s artist in the USSR) and defended a doctoral thesis. In 1998 he was appointed conductor of Volgograd Philharmonic orchestra and in the period of 2000–2002 he was the chief conductor of Volgograd Opera Enterprise (Tsaritsino Opera House at present).

Over the 2002 to 2005 period Mr. Stachinsky was the musical director of the Karelia State Musical Theater and docent in the Petrozavodsk Conservatoire. Mr. Stachinsky conducted philharmonic orchestras, worked as a guest conductor in opera and musical theatres in various Russian cities and towns, and represented Russian musical art abroad, in Germany, Italy, Austria, Finland, Spain and the USA. Mr. Stachinsky worked with Russia’s leading orchestras, participated in seminars, has scientific publications, honours and diplomas.
