Honored Artist of Russia Andrei Kazakov graduated from the Leningrad Conservatory in 1979.

He studied clarinet with prof. Suhanov. He won 1977 Prague Spring International Music Competition, recorded a lot at “Melody“ Label and on National Television and Radio. He is the professor of St. Petersburg State Conservatoire and regularly plays solo recitals in the best concert halls of Russia and abroad.

Andrei Kazakov is also the first interpreter of numerous works by modern composers.
