Оleg Malov is a professor of the Saint-Petersburg Conservatoire, Honorary artist of Russian Federation, degree in arts criticism.

In 1970 he graduated from Leningrad Conservatoire where he studied with the professors S. Savshinsky and N. Perelman. Since 1972 O. Malov is teaching at the Piano Department of the St. Petersburg State Conservatoire.

Oleg Malov performs extensively, regularly participating in the most important contemporary music festivals in Europe and USA. In his performances he acts as a soloist, chamber musician, and conductor. Oleg Malov holds numerous master-classes in Russia, Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxemburg, Corea, Germany, the USA and Chile.
